LED PLUS

In 2016, Video lead and LUx partner Kyle glaser Put together a flexible and simple led video element for install at joshua tree music festival. being their lighting and video lead for some years now, he sought to design an item that would withstand the climate restrictions of a desert festival, as well as something that would appear to be ‘flaoting’ or ‘frameless’. The footage taken here was in kyle’s studio, after he had employed the magnetic mounting structure to streamline the disappearing aspect of the build.

Once built, the structure required some creative direction regarding content, server interaction, and client needs. Glaser carefully selected movements and content that would fit the horizontal and vertical orientation of the structure’s arms, and implemented this for resolume automation.
