Hotel Cafe is a Hollywood staple, which is why we were excited to help them upgrade their lighting system.

The location is used in a variety of contexts, so we had to make sure that the lighting options were flexible but also striking, despite the stage size. The venue is used for regular concert programming, as well as record label undersells (Rebecca Black, Captitol Records, etc.) and now live streams. This meant that high powered fixtures were not possible but color had to be represented accurately and flexibly.

Lux Aeterna built and programmed a brand new array of back and front lighting -- the system includes a couple groups of Chauvet Colorband T3 bar-style fixtures, as well as brand new Chauvet SlimPARs, and our favorite: 6x Chauvet EVE TF-20s. These little fixtures surprised us for their fortitude, functionality, and color quality. For us, coming from touring-world, we loved how everything came together, after purchasing, prepping, installing, programming, and documenting was all done and dusted.
